This year we are studying Physical Science which consists of Motion, Forces, and Energy along with Electricity, Magnetism, and Sound.
We will learn this material by note-taking, learning skills, and hands-on-
labs.
Chapter 1 MOTION
In this chapter, we will discuss Describing and measuring Motion, Slow Motion on Planet Earth, and Acceleration. This year in Science we will use formulas in each chapter. I gave each student a copy of the formulas that we will use throught the entire year. This sheet should be the first piece of paper in the Science Section of their binders.
We will learn how to calculate Speed and acceleration. We will also learn how to graph them.
Lab will be 8/20. "Stopping on a dime".

Germs are everywhere, and to prevent the spreading of germs, we can wash our hands, not eat after others, and sneeze and cough in our shirts.
PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOUR CHILD IN NOT ONLY STUDYING THE NIGHT BEFORE A TEST. THIS IS TOO MUCH INFORMATION FOR YOUR CHILD TO DO A CRAM SESSION THE NIGHT BEFORE. |
