Welcome to sixth grade science! We're starting the year with a short astronomy unit. We're studying the sun, the galaxy, the universe, and the life cycles of stars. It's been so much fun meeting and getting to know the new sixth graders. I know that it's going to be a great year!!
Our first test is scheduled for Tuesday, August 31 and will cover Chapter 2 Sect. 2, and Chapter 3 Sect. 1 & 2. |

Each 9-weeks, I will feature a special scientist. Students will have the opportunity to learn about this person, and earn extra credit at the same time! More information will be posted around Progress Report time. |
