Students have been working with decimals after finishing number patterns. The fisrt nine weeks is quickly coming to a close. Here is an overview of the rest of the 1st nine weeks and beginning of the 2nd. |
- Number sense, patterns, and algebraic thinking.
- Decimal operations.
- Data and statistics.
- Will begin number patterns and fractions.
- Fraction work will include:
- Prime and composite numbers
- Greatest common factor
- Least common denominator
- Adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing fractions.
- Orderning fractions.

Important things to remember: |
- ABSENCES: Bring an excuse from home or doctor when returning from any absence.
- Students are responsible for finding a "homework buddy." This "buddy" will be responsible for gathering the absent student's assignments.
