The Church teaches us that it is a good and holy thing to pray for one another – both for the living and the dead.  Pious works like fasting and almsgiving may also be prayerfully offered to God for our own good and the good of others.  Mass Intentions are a beautiful opportunity to offer prayers and alms to God in honor or remembrance of those we love.  Adorning the sanctuary with flowers is a physical action that gives adoration and praise to God.  Giving Sanctuary Flowers is a prayerful offering that remembers or honors a loved one to the glory of God.

Mass Intentions

Filling out the Mass Intentions form requests your loved one be remembered at a St. Aloysius Mass during the Prayers of the Faithful.  Requested masses will be honored if available.  If they are not, then a Mass at the closest date possible will be scheduled. Stipends are $5 per mass intention.  You, and up to two others per intention, will be mailed a notification letter. Completed forms and stipends can be mailed or delivered to the parish office.

Memorials

During the seasons of Easter, Christmas and Ordinary Time, donations for flower arrangements to offset the costs can be made to remember a loved one.  By filling out the Sanctuary Flowers form, you may select an arrangement and placement of flowers within the sanctuary.  The arrangement will remain for one week and will be present for all Masses and activities that take place inside the church during that time.
