
Mass intentions can be requested via paper form or online. When you request Mass intentions, your loved ones will be remembered during the Prayers of the Faithful.
How to Book a Mass Intention Online

Click on the button above titled REQUEST MASS INTENTIONS ONLINE.

For each intention, select an available Mass time.

Teal = Mass available

Grey = Mass has already been booked and cannot accept any more names

Select the occasion and who the Mass is for.

If you want a physical Mass card, please check the box on the intention request form. Please indicate where to send and to whom to send the Mass card in the notes. If you do not want a Mass card, it is not necessary to leave a note.

Add the intention to your Cart, and when you are finished shopping, Proceed to Checkout. Once you are finished you will receive an email.

From the Checkout Screen, you will have the opportunity to:

Add an additional donation to your offering

Decide if you would like to help the parish by covering the fees associated with your online transaction.

Please Note: Your intention request is not final and your credit card will not be charged until your order has been approved by our office staff. You will receive a confirmation email from us once your order has been approved. If there is a problem with your request, we will notify you.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to leave a note (for online Masses)? No. You may leave it blank.
How do I make my donation online? You can pay online with a debit/credit card to donate online or pay cash or drop payments via cash or check to the parish office. For checks, please make them payable to St. Aloysius Church with Mass intentions in the memo.
How do I indicate that my Mass intention is a 10th anniversary of death or 1st wedding anniversary (for online)? First, select the occasion. Next, in the “Notes” section simply type “10th Anniversary” or “1st Anniversary”.
How many Mass intentions do you accept per Mass?

Mondays = no intentions (Mass not held Mondays)

Wednesdays & Thursdays = single intentions

Tuesdays and Fridays = multiple intentions (up to eight)

Weekends
-
One weekend Mass will accept eight intentions.

The rest of the weekend Masses will accept a single intention.

One weekend Mass will be scheduled for "all parishioners" with no additional intentions taken for that Mass.

How far in advance can I schedule intentions? Six months out from the current date
What is the stipend for Mass intentions? $5 per Mass if paying with cash or check, $6 per Mass with debit/credit card
How many Mass intentions can I schedule? You and your household can schedule up to five Mass intentions a month at a time. If scheduling five intentions, they'll be split the following ways:

Three weekends, two weekdays

Two weekends, three weekdays

One weekend, four weekdays

Multiple weekdays

If scheduling a name for an intention, only one weekday and one weekend can be scheduled in the same week for the same name

Do I have to book it online myself now? No! You can still call the parish office at (225) 343-6657 to book a Mass intention, stop by the church office to arrange Mass intentions, or fill out a paper form and return to the church office.
