Advent Wreaths & Raffles
The parish holds five annual fundraising events. Three through church directly and one each led by the School and Child Care Center education ministries. The Parish Fair, Auction and Golf Classic net proceeds are dedicated to fulfilling the goals of the parish Master Plan. The entire parish benefits from these fundraisers as they've played a significant role in funding the church, school and child care center buildings in use today. The SAS Annual Appeal and SACCC Fish Fry are devoted to the needs of the School and Child Care Center, respectively.
Parish Fair - October 22-24, 2021
Faith! Family! Fun! An outdoor Mass, always generous volunteers, great music, food and drinks, rides, a $10,000 raffle, giving and gracious hearts, smiles both young and old are all things you will find at the Parish Fair.
Funds raised: $113,140 (5 year average) Net proceeds go toward the parish Master Plan.
Auction - February 19, 2022
The Auction began as an arm of the Parish Fair and has grown into its own event. It was originally held in the old gym, moved to L'Auberge for several successful years and moved back to campus in 2020. The event includes a live and silent auction portion. Included in the silent auction are experiences, class projects and teacher gifts surrounding an attractive atmosphere of music, food and drinks.
Funds raised: $113,060 (5 year average) Net proceeds of the SAS Class Projects go to the Parish Scholarship Endowment held at the School. The remaining funds go toward the parish Master Plan.
Golf Classic - March 14, 2022
Typically taking place on a Monday in March at the University Club Golf Course, the Golf Classic includes a relaxed, but competitive tournament of 36 foursomes. The teams participate in a shotgun start following a prayer and blessing of the players. Lunch and dinner are included, as well as prizes. A Master's raffle for a two-day, practice-round stay at Augusta National has been a tremendous part in helping raise funds for the Classic in recent years.
Funds raised: $11,692 (5 year average). Net proceeds go toward the parish Master Plan.
SAS Annual Appeal
Intended to meet the needs and goals of the School, the SAS Annual Appeal is promoted annually. The School communicates its needs and plans. A faithful and sacrificial response by friends of the School typically allows those to be fulfilled.
SACCC Fish Fry
Intended to meet the needs and goals of the Child Care Center, the Fish Fry takes place once each year on a Friday during Lent.
